Presenter Qualifications:

Lynn Atkinson, RDH, has over 35 years of clinical experience advancing dental hygiene through technology, diagnostics, and education. A graduate of Cypress College, she holds Associate Fellowship with the World Clinical Laser Institute and both Standard and Advanced Proficiency Certifications from the Academy of Laser Dentistry (ALD). She practices clinically four days a week, integrating comprehensive periodontal care, Guided Biofilm Therapy, and adjunctive laser protocols. Lynn lectures nationally, provides hands-on training, and serves as a US Dental Academy trainer for EMS. An ALD Board member and Auxiliary Chair, she is also a Standard Level Course Provider. She received the ALD Leon Goldman Clinical Excellence Award (2022) and the Western Society of Periodontology Hygiene Speaker of the Year Award (2024).
