Presenter Qualifications:

Dr. Parul Dua Makkar is a practicing general dentist, speaker, grief coach, and oral cancer advocate based in Long Island, NY. She is the owner of PDM Family Dental and brings nearly two decades of clinical experience to her work. Driven by personal loss, Dr. Makkar is dedicated to educating dental professionals on early detection and comprehensive oral cancer screening. She is the founder of Dua Good Job, an oral cancer awareness initiative, a certified grief coach supporting healthcare providers, and the author of Life Interrupted: Dr. Dua’s Survival Guide, Stories of Friends and Family Lost, and the Legacy Journal.
